A Lesson From The Mighty Hawk

A winning streak rises you as high as the hawk.

So you stop flapping your wings and start gliding in the air.

You are confident that nothing can make you fly as low as the sparrows, crows and pigeons.

Sooner than you realize, you start falling. You flap your wings as hard as you can to prevent a crash landing.

Once you stabilize, you flap your wings much harder to fly high again.

Winning and losing is like that.

After winning too many times, you will want to rest and enjoy yourself. If you don't limit this enjoyment, eventually you will start falling.

One day you are high and the next day you are low.

The good thing is that you already know how to rise high again.

Unlike the mighty hawk, you don’t have wings to flap or the ability to fly, but you can always work harder instead of giving up.
